Meero opens new offices in Tokyo
28th January, Paris - Meero, the world leader of photo and video production on a large scale, continues its international expansion by opening offices in Tokyo. After opening offices in New York in October 2018, where it has already opened hundreds of positions, Meero is now setting up in Japan where it is currently seeking to recruit new employees, particularly in supply, production, commercial and customer services!
Companies that expand their workforce increase exponentially. In three years, Meero has already hired over 450 employees and plans to accommodate another 550 by the end of the year. This growth is also part of its strong international expansion, further enhanced by these new Japanese offices, which will soon be followed by branches opening in Australia, China and India.
Meero already operates in Japan, one of one hundred companies that Meero works in, and physically having offices there will strengthen the links with its partners and more directly permeate a market of 127 million consumers.
"Opening our offices in Japan is a tremendous development opportunity across the Asian continent that represents a huge market," says Thomas Rebaud, CEO. "On the other hand, we are investing heavily in research and development, and this initiative reflects our desire to export our proprietary artificial intelligence technology to the world."
Created in 2016, Meero responds to a major problem in the photography world: image editing. 60 minutes of actual shooting requires up to 4 hours of additional post production work. Result: long delivery times, inconsistent returns, often disparate prices.
Combining world-unique artificial intelligence technology, unprecedented work processes, and the development of a visual content management platform, Meero has managed to develop a world-wide photo and video service at unbeatable prices, delivery times of under 24 hours and consistent quality.
Today, Meero is:
- The leader of artificial intelligence dedicated to image processing
- The first on-demand photography platform in the world
- 31,000 clients in over 100 countries
- 450 employees from 30 different nationalities
- 1 shoot delivered every 30 seconds
