They Look Like Planets...But Are They Really Planets?

The beautiful photographs taken by Christopher Jonassen make us think of what is infinitely far in the universe. The photographed planets are enigmatic, one wonders where they come from and why they have never been seen before. By coming closer and taking interest in the project of the Norwegian artist, we realize that these "planets" hide something, and that contrary to what we believe, they are much closer to us.

Man Takes Picture of the Impossible

Oxford University student captures the unimaginable by taking a picture of an Atom, with an ordinary camera. During an experiment he managed to trap and immortalize an atom with a simple DSLR camera. It has even been awarded the Scientific Photo of the Year Award by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council.
