Toy Photographer Will Fulfill All of Your Childhood Dreams

Los Angeles Photographer Mitchel Wu went from photographing wedding venues, brides and grooms, "to fulfilling all of our childhood dreams. However, Wu began his lime light in the toy sector right out of school where he was doing product design. He told Wix in an interview that he was then recruited by the Walt Disney Company and felt this is what really contributed to the person he is today, saying that "The job taught me about character development and staying true to characters and also how to look at things from different angles." He took a break from all the design and decided to get into wedding photography, where he worked in the industry for 6 or 7 years!

Love story specialist to professional toy photographer, Mitchel Wu combines toys and his photography skills, effects and his immense imagination to create a world where toys come to life.

Here is an example of his method of capturing such pictures:

With very little to no photoshop tricks involved in the making of his artwork, he finds alternative physical tricks to play on his subjects. Many of Wu’s photographs combine characters from different universes, creating bizarre crossover storylines. Thanks for the popularity of his work, Wu has been hired by clients ranging from Warner Bros to Mattel. He has also been featured by Pixar, The LEGO group and most famously The Walt Disney Co. He has created images for UNO, Scrabble, Hot Wheels and many more.
