In collaboration with the Kynos Institute and Claude Vauclare, the results of the study will be released:

Located at 18 rue du 4 septembre, 75002 Paris

The profession of the photographer (and videographer) is one that can be uncertain and extremely rewarding all at the same time. From seeing the beauty in something otherwise overlooked to capturing the true essence of a subject to creating something unique and visually appealing, the work of photographers and videographers is often very revealing.

These artists come from all walks of life. Some come from prestigious art schools, others are self-taught or work in this profession as a secondary activity. But what unites them all is the fact that they are constantly confronted with new changes, both from society and from technology.

That's why Meero and Picter have partnered to target as many photographers and videographers as possible to create a comprehensive study that highlights the lives of these professionals.

This survey was conducted for the first time on a global scale in collaboration with the Institut Kynos et Claude Vauclare (which conducted the study by the Ministry of Culture in 2015), it aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the status and challenges faced by today's photographers and videographers, based on the most reliable source: the artists themselves. The study explores where photographers come from, in addition to their needs and projects, as well as how they deal with the challenges of everyday life.

For this reason, 6,000 photographers and videographers agreed to answer the approximately 70 questions that make up this questionnaire.  The results of this study will be presented by Claude Vauclare in a special preview at a presentation on Wednesday 27 November at 9 am.
