Meero Brings Its AI to CES 2019

The young tech startup will be in Las Vegas from January 8th to 12th

Eureka Park Booth 50463

5th December, Paris: Meero, a pioneer in algorithmic image editing and world leader in large-scale photo and video production, will be at the next CES in Las Vegas for the first time from 8th to 12th January 2019. The startup will showcase its AI technology and photo & video solutions to visitors at the world's largest high-tech trade show. Meero will cover the topic of artificial intelligence applied to business development services.

Six months after its $45M series B funding, Meero’s presence at the CES will allow the startup, already based in New York, Sydney, Rio, and present in +100 countries, to outline its international expansion strategy and state its position as a dynamic player on the rise in French tech and at a global level.

Developed at the heart of its Computer Vision centre, Meero's technology processes tens of thousands of images per day in seconds using a deep convolutional neural network to extract general and specific features, this is done by pairing manually retouched images, which makes it resilient to changes in lighting and colour, as well as the semantics of the scene.

By putting artificial intelligence into the photography industry, Meero has managed in 30 months to automate image editing, reducing the image processing time to just a few seconds when it takes several hours for professionals to achieve equivalent results. This technological breakthrough has allowed the startup tech company to standardise the production of photo reports for all professionals in sectors such as real estate, catering, and retail, worldwide.
